OUR STORY
Merydyan Technologies began back in 2005, when our president and CEO, Dennis Sheldon, was working as an IT Director at a Wisconsin tribal casino. He quickly noticed a big problem: departments were juggling clunky, disconnected software systems that didn’t talk to each other. Progress was hard to track, accountability slipped through the cracks, and the hassle of dealing with multiple vendors only added to the frustration.
Armed with a Computer Science degree and a “there has to be a better way” mindset, Dennis set out to build something different: an all-in-one enterprise software platform designed specifically for the unique needs of gaming operations. That spark eventually grew into Merydyan Technologies, officially formed in 2013.
From there, PRYME™ was born – our paperless, cloud-based workflow ecosystem that makes work actually work. By 2014, PRYME expanded into digital background checks and licensing systems. In 2017, we officially launched into the tribal gaming regulatory market, unlocking cross-departmental access with role-based permissions. (Yes, we geek out on this stuff – and proud of it.)
The story didn’t stop there. In 2017, Debbie Chase-Mosley joined as partner and COO, bringing her passion for people and a personal-touch approach to every client relationship. And in 2022, Merydyan entered the commercial gaming space, supporting a 36-property operator with our PRYME Ecosystem.
Today, every member of Team Merydyan brings deep industry experience and a shared commitment to helping clients streamline, simplify, and succeed. We love what we do – and we’d welcome the opportunity to do it with you.
